There are Hydrogen Generator kits being sold on the Internet for hundreds of dollars but why not build your own for $65? It is easy to do, the parts can be found locally and you can have it up and running in a couple of days.
The people selling these kits say that the home built models don't work and actually create dangerous carbon monoxide gas. So, who is telling the truth?
The fact is, a hydrogen generator works off a well known theory called electrolysis. You simply run a current through a set of oppositely charged electrodes submersed in water that pull apart the water molecule to its core components of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom thus creating a burnable fuel known as HHO.
There are different configurations and ways to control the voltage applied, but they all work on the same principle. Ahhh, the lengths to which a person or organization will go to discredit their competition.
One such manufacture of these kits has implied, actually no, has made the bold statement that some of the do it yourself guides lead you to building a device that could kill you. The president of this company said that anyone peddling these guides is an idiot and has not done their research and deserves what they are about to get. (I'm not sure what the implied threat actually means).
Basically this person has put out a statement saying that the hydrogen generator puts out carbon monoxide because it uses baking soda as a catalyst...is this true?
I contacted the president of this company and commented on his bold statements and asked that he send me proof that the system generates dangerous levels of carbon monoxide and of any injuries or deaths associated with these home built hydrogen generators.
After a round of infantile insults, he told me I could ask any high school chemistry teacher about it. He failed to provide me with any credible documentation or statistics of carbon monoxide poisoning.
I have been running my own home built hydrogen generator for sometime now so of course wanted to validate his claims. I have also spoken with hundreds of others who have built and are running their own hydrogen generators and no one has heard of such a thing. I actually had my generator tested by a licensed technician, not a high school chemistry teacher, and the system was found to be very safe and produced no measurable amounts of CO.
I hate that we have had to pay through the nose at the gas pump and have finally found an affordable alternative to cutting our gas bill only to have another corporate honcho, trying to sell a thousand dollar product, resort to scare tactics to once again pry money from our wallets.
I'm certainly going to continue to use my hydrogen generator. With the actual research I've done, If I were to take the advice of this corporate president, I would need to stop cooking, heating my home, driving my car, cutting my grass, lighting a candle, sitting by the campfire and on and on...all of these things actually produce measurable amounts of CO but he chooses to attack a product that cuts into his profits, imagine that.
Of course it is your choice and you should do your own research and not just buy into what this guy is saying. If you are concerned at all you can simply forgo the use the baking soda. Of course you will not generate the same amount of gas but it will still work.
I also contacted the company who puts out the most well known do it yourself guide and has sold thousands of copies and asked him about the CO production. He wrote back to me with well documented support to the contrary and was professional in is response even though I had presented myself to be an angry customer.
He explained the chemistry behind the generator and how ridiculous the claims made by this other person were and that he had the system tested by researchers from Gulf Laboratories and that basically the guy was lying. I was satisfied with his explanation.
Want to build one yourself? Of course you do! I have a guide at my website that will show you, step by step how to make this hydrogen generator. It's freakin awesome and the government can't do anything about it! Got to http://MylaMadson.com/hybrid
